FOODGUARD Project Goes Global

Our project has expanded beyond the borders of the European Union, reaching new international audiences. Recently, FOODGUARD was presented to PhD students and academic staff at both the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology and Nanjing University.

During these visits, Prof. George-John Nychas delivered inspiring seminars titled: “Next Generation Food and Safety Assessment: From Conventional Control & Classical Predictive Modeling to the Internet of Foods.” These sessions showcased FOODGUARD’s innovative vision for the future of food safety, emphasizing digital transformation, advanced predictive technologies, and the development of interconnected food systems that support safer and smarter decision-making.

We extend our sincere thanks to our hosts in China for their warm hospitality and for the stimulating discussions on the future of food safety and innovation.
