FOODGUARD in the News for Breakthrough Food Safety Innovation

FOODGUARD was recently featured in Kathimerini, one of Greece’s leading newspapers, where Professors George-John Nychas and N.Chorianopoulos explained how predictive microbiology and AI are transforming the future of food safety and sustainability. By combining advanced sensor technology with machine learning algorithms, we can detect microbial activity in real time and accurately predict food shelf life. 


This data-driven approach moves us beyond static expiration dates and toward dynamic, science-based assessments, helping businesses reduce food waste, improve safety, and optimize supply chains.
