Empowering AgriFood Innovation through European Collaboration

Dr. Chrysoula Tassou, Research Director at ELGO-DIMITRA, presented FOODGUARD and its innovative solutions for minimising foodloss and waste at the 12th Meeting of the Agri-Food Sector Group, held in Athens (November 5–7), coordinated by Enterprise Europe Network Hellas.

Over three inspiring days filled with discussions and exchanges on the future of Europe’s agrifood sector, participants from across the value chain had the opportunity to engage with European representatives from the Agriculture and Food sectors, government officials, and key stakeholders from industry and research institutions.

The event brought together experts and representatives from 𝟮𝟲 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, fostering dialogue on innovation, sustainability  and Technology Transfer  across the agrifood value chain. It highlighted how collaboration between research, innovation, and entrepreneurship can accelerate progress toward a more sustainable, resilient, and competitive agri-food sector in Europe.

A warm thank you to the General Directorate of Agricultural Research of ΕΛΓΟ ΔΗΜΗΤΡΑ ELGO DΙΜITRA for the invitation, and to Anastasia Sarchosoglou and Enterprise Europe Network Hellas for making this opportunity possible.
