FOODGUARD featured in the EU Food Loss and Waste Prevention Hub

FOODGUARD is prominently featured in the EU Food Loss and Waste Prevention Hub, a significant initiative aimed at addressing the pressing issue of food waste across Europe.

This platform serves as a vital resource for building a growing community of stakeholders, including businesses, non-profit organizations, researchers, and policymakers. By fostering collaborations among these diverse groups, FOODGUARD seeks to maximize communication and share best practices, innovative solutions, and effective strategies in an effort to significantly reduce food losses and food waste. The initiative highlights the importance of collective action and shared responsibility in tackling this global challenge. As of December, the focus remains on engaging with various entities to develop comprehensive approaches that not only minimize waste but also promote sustainability and efficiency within the food supply chain. This collaborative framework is essential for creating impactful change, encouraging knowledge exchange, and inspiring new projects that align with the overarching goal of promoting responsible consumption and production patterns throughout the European Union.
